Hi folks,

As some of you may have noticed we sometimes have trouble with our TVs – we have isolated the problem as being caused by the fusebox in the pub so we are replacing it right now. We had hoped to be finished in time to open today but we have run into a few problems so the pub will probably be late opening – I will update at 1600 Frankfurt time.

Late again – the demands of my day job were unnatural this week. Anyway, sports plan is up – lots of sports this weekend – we have all the Rugby World cup quarter finals but the main attraction has to be Watford vs Arsenal on Saturday evening – GO ON YOU GUNNERS!!!

The is going to be a bit of a party in the pub on Saturday for my 50th Birthday.  This is it….next birthday party is when I hit 100…

Sorry for last week sports fans – took a tumble on my way for a late night piss and banged my head. Knocked myself out and caused concussion. All good now, the old noggin is clear and I am no longer spinning. The sports plan for the week has been posted.

The live sports page has been updated again – three weeks in a row. Before you know it people will be expecting it.

It’s my last month of not being 50. I gotta party like it is 1999….

I am going to have a party in the pub for my 50th. Anyone I have ever met is invited, even if I dislike you or vice versa.

No real theme other than I am getting old…17 October at zeil 10. Come along…should be a good party. Usually is.

Has been posted in the Live Sports section. A quick note to all the people who come to the pub to watch football….the rugby world cup is on for the next 6 weeks. This means that there are going to be alot of clashes between football and rugby for sound and television. We will endeavor to get all the important games on but over the next 6 weeks, Rugby has priority.

My accountant had stern words for me about updating the site – he is absolutely right. I just keep forgetting about it. No Excuse – the live sports page will be updated every week, universe willing.

two years flies – hard to believe that we have been running the pub for that  long. The battle to make it the best little boozer on the planet continues.

So, on the 31st of Jan we would like you to join us on our second anniversary – there will be lots of prizes and giveaways culminating in two tickets to the Schalke v Real Madrid champions league game on 18 Feb. Drink Heineken to have a chance at winning the champs league tickets (see details of the promotion in the pub).

Just bought a whack of fireworks for tomorrow…Zeil 10 is going to go BOOM!!! tomorrow evening. come spend your new year’s eve in frankfurt’s finest little boozer…

2014 is amost done and dusted. here are a few of my favourite pub moments from 2014 :

1 – our 1st year anniversary party with Jamie Clarke and Perfect.

2 – the Champions league knock out stages – great crowds and great football.

3 – Damo’s birthday party – karaoke to kill for…

4 – The World Cup.

5 – The Halloween Costume party.

It has been a great year.  Onward and upwards for 2015.
